On joining the EPIC-Lab

We are looking for highly self-motivated Ph.D. students and postdocs to work on Elastic AI Computing via algorithm-architecture co-design. Prospective students are encouraged to apply to Ph.D. in Computer and Systems Engineering or in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. RPI was ranked 41 in Computer Engineering and 60 in Computer Science by U.S. News 2024.

Required Background and Qualifications

• Solid programming and math skills.
• Knowledge in computer architecture and systems; familiar with digital design and synthesis (HDL); Experience with architectural simulation or design prototyping on FPGAs is a plus.
• Knowledge in machine learning; familiar with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX).
